About the Item

Schatz Germany 8 Day domed mantle/desk clock. Beautiful kinetic movement. Made of solid brass with a detachable lucite acrylic and brass domed cover. Ideal as a mantle or desk clock. Offered in excellent vintage condition and in fine working order. There are light surface marks consistent with age to the perspex dome. This is hardly noticeable and does not detract from its use.

This enameled silver desk clock is unsigned, so a specific maker cannot be identified, but the case was made in France, and the movement in Switzerland in the period and style of Art Deco.
