Seguso Vetri d'Arte Murano Blue Pulegoso Bubbles Italian Art Glass Desk Clock
About the Item
Beautiful and large, vintage Murano hand blown "Pulegoso" bubbles over blue color Italian art glass footed desk clock. Attributed to the Seguso Vetri d'Arte company and designer Flavio Poli. The piece has a wavy rippling sculptural form, with concave back. It is made with very thick glass, and has an applied glass foot. The clock mechanism is not in working condition, so the piece is being sold as a decorative item. The clock is marked on the back, made by Lux Clock Mfg. Co., Waterbury, Conn. U.S.A. Would make a great display piece on any desk, vanity or coffee table. Art Deco, Mid-century era. Measures: 5" tall x 7" long across the face of the clock x 4 1/2" wide.
