Stately, two-handed, Swiss 15 jewel, 8 day winding desk clock manufactured by Imhof for Saks Fifth Avenue- early 1960s.
Polished brass, splayed circular clock face, with applied solid brass time indicators. Imhof, a maker regarded as "the Rolls Royce of table clocks," left no detail unattended to. The bevelled base, which lets the clock lean back at a slight angle, makes for easy reading at a desk height. Internal movement has not been inspected, winding key turns but clock is not currently functioning. Minor chip to top-right corner of bevelled glass face.
