ABOUT
An Art Deco "Postal Telegraph Bichronous Electric Time" clock with a painted metal body, glass front with chrome rim, black lettering with a black second hand. The clock operates properly and quietly and keeps time.
"Bichronous' means the clock will keep running for about 30 minutes after the power goes off.
CREATOR Hammond Industries.
DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1930-1939.
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Metal, Glass.
CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Wiring is good. Loss of paint and some pitting of the chrome.
