ABOUT An Art Deco "Postal Telegraph Synchronous Electric Time" clock with a painted metal body, glass front with chrome rim, black lettering with a red second hand. The clock needs to be rewired and currently does not work. CREATOR Hammond Industries. DATE OF MANUFACTURE c.1930-1939. MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Metal, Glass. CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Needs rewiring. Loss of paint, some rust and some pitting of the chrome. DIMENSIONS Diameter 20 in. D 4.5 in. HISTORY Unknown.
