1960S DOUBLE-SIDED ILLUMINATED RAILWAY STATION CLOCK A stunning double-sided illuminated railway station clock, crafted by the renowned Great British Clock maker, Gents of Leicester, circa 1960. This iconic timepiece boasts a sleek black-painted steel case that exudes vintage charm and adds a touch of sophistication to any space. This railway station clock was model number C32/261 from Gents and designed for and used by British Rail. The clock has been professionally restored incorporating new LED chip lighting that is controllable remotely via a mobile app or remote control. This makes it easy to set and schedule the lighting to specific times and days if required, new high torque synchronous main movement controls the clock's hands, guaranteed for 12 months. Eco-conscious designers will appreciate the sustainability of this reclaimed station clock, which used low energy LED lighting and clock movements. By choosing a vintage industrial clock like this one, you're not only adding character and charm to your space, but also reducing your carbon footprint by reusing existing materials. When renovating our original reclaimed lighting all existing electrical parts are removed and renewed with modern electrical components. All components used are CE certified and our lights are wired & tested in line with BSEN Standards. As standard our lights come with 1m of our premium fabric three core cable to a colour of your choice unless stated otherwise in the product description. Generally, ES or BS lamp holders are used unless otherwise stated and are fully compatible with main dimmers and modern LED filament bulbs. Our lights can be wired to bespoke specifications, longer lengths, different cable types and compatibility with specialist dimming systems such as DALI can all be accommodated. Lights supplied to U.S.A and Canada are installed using UL Certified cable and lamp holders. As standard we supply round black fabric cable and E26 holders. Please note that although we use UL certified components our original reclaimed lights do not come with UL certification. Due to the antique nature of our original vintage lights, we cannot offer an official IP rating and cannot guarantee our lights for external use. Manufactured circa 1940 The clocks steel case has been exposed and left in a RAW brushed finish and protected with a liquid beeswax polish.
