Hanging rope clock from Gustav Becker Freiburg in Schlesien, currently Swiebodzice Lower Silesia. A renowned German clock manufacturer. Mechanism with serial number 1152722, year of manufacture 1895 (125 years). The clock mechanism was produced before the merger of Swiebodzice clock factories into a large union. Two-piece enamel dial with Roman hour index and minute scale. Openwork steel hands decorated with a floral motif, graham capture with a brass anchor with adjustable steel pallets. Milled pinions hardened and polished, polished axes. Hints screws and blue springs (blueing - hot-dip applied corrosion protection). Due to the specifics of this drive, weight clocks are among the most accurate mechanical clocks. Constant driving force significantly affects the walking accuracy of such a clock. The accuracy of the time measurement of this clock exceeds the accuracy of most other clocks, especially those with spring drive. Thanks to the wooden pendulum rod, temperature changes have almost no impact on the accuracy of gait and daily clock deviation. Comb system beating hours and half hours - this system allows you to change the time even backwards without any mistakes or damage to the mechanism. It is possible to start beating hours at any time without moving the hands manually using the lever. One-tone spiral gong. Despite the fact that it has been 125 years since the production of this mechanism, no significant wear of the clock part can be seen. The mechanism made very solidly has no signs of excessive wear or unskilled repairs (e.g. tapering of bearings, alterations)
