Hickory Dickory Dock Mouse Novelty Wall Clock - The Mouse Reads Time

About the Item

A "Hickory Dickory Dock" themed clock inspired by the popular nursery rhyme. The clock has a wooden design with an antique feel. The top of the clock has the words “Dickory Dickory Dock” engraved in gold letters, referencing the classic rhyme. The clock face is not the traditional round shape but a long vertical structure, resembling a height chart, with golden numbers from 1 to 12 running along the length. Instead of a standard clock hand, there is a small white mouse figure, that moves along the height-based numbering, indicating the current time, mimicking the rhyme where "the mouse ran up the clock." Once the mouse reaches the top, it drops down and rings the bell. This unique design ties into the playful, child-like nature of the nursery rhyme and gives it a whimsical aesthetic. This clock comes with an 8 day mechanical wind up mechanism.
