Huge Reclaimed Double Sided Square Factory Clock by English Clock Systems Ltd

Huge Reclaimed Industrial Double Sided Factory Clock An original vintage double-sided factory clock hanging clock. Crafted by English Clock System, London, England, circa 1950. The clock has been professionally restored. Everything remains original, the original 240v mains powered synchronous movements have been cleaned, oiled and tested and keep good time. The painted steel case has been dissembled cleaned and reassembled and the imperfections from years of industrial are clear to see and add to the character of this wonderful piece. New brass BA screws have been install all round to the original spec. One face of the clock is hinged to allow access to change the time via the original adjustment rods. The clock comes complete with our premium fabric cable and standard UK 3 pin plug with a 1A fuse installed and chain length to suite the drop required. The clock can be wired and adapted for use outside of the UK on request. 240v 50hz Mains powered clocks sold to the US will be included with frequency converter for smooth running from your 110v 60Hz supply. DOUBLE SIDED SQUARE WALL CLOCK BY GENTS OF LEICESTER A rare form and size clock by British clock makers Gents of Leicester. Manufactured circa 1940 The clocks steel case has been exposed and left in a RAW brushed finish and protected with a liquid beeswax polish. The clock retains its original slave movements and is controlled by a modern impulse driver which can be mounted external from the clock to control and changes that are required. The clock is a wall mounted variant but this can be spun to be ceiling mounted if required.
