Midcentury Diehl Ceramic Wall Clock, Glossy Caramel Relief in 3D, 1960s, Germany

About the Item

Outstanding colours & design by one of the oldest famous German watch- and clock maker Diehl. Quite a futuristic approach, a masterpiece of mid-century design. Made in the 1960s, this wall clock is made from a caramel & natural white glazed ceramic. Geometrical shaped relief design with cream coloured dial, black 'numbers' & golden aluminum pointers/fingers. The seconds are shown in a pink. Beautiful also the dome shaped cover glas, fish-eye like, held by a gold coloured frame. From the side it is a real 3D piece. Diehl Electronic. Made in Germany. The clockwork can be put into a 'stop' position. Battery not included.
