Rare Antique Japanese Double Foliot Striking Lantern Wall Clock Kake Dokei
For your consideration is a very rare Japanese DOUBLE Foliot lantern clock, double weight driven with striking, housed in a brass case with engraved flowers, Japanese character time ring with hand center rotating to indicate the time, double foliot escapement movement with striking, driven by double weight, small weight to drive the alarm, both doors on the side opens to reveal the movement, clock strikes on a large domed bell. The entire clock has been cleaned and serviced, good working order, clock measures 14-1/2" tall and 5-5/8" wide, (not including the cables). The fabric cables are recently replaced.
