United Brass Spindles Sunburst Atomic Clock, 1960s

About the Item

The vintage starburst wall clock features radii of brass rods, radiating outwards from the round central face and ending with alternating walnut tips and brass rings. It's equipped with hour, minute, and second movement set on a circular flat black background, surrounded by black and brass numerals, done in relief on white background. Sculptural, graphic shape of the clock elevates the iconic sunburst design, characteristic of Mid-Century modern aesthetic. The clock mechanism needs to be repaired. It works sporadically.
