Vesuvius: 3-foot Sabele and Maple Linear Clock

About the Item

Vesuvius is a Linear Clock featuring a radiant length of Sapele with grains that look like waves rolling along a shoreline. Linear Clocks are an invention of Linear Clockworks; these clocks tell time in a calm, simple, and elegant fashion. We use sustainably-sourced hardwoods, creating functional and beautiful works of art. The pointer moves from left to right, and at midnight, they begin to move to the left, taking six hours to reach 6 AM. On this particular clock, the raised 3-D lettering and tree-of-life-style pointer in Maple create a harmonious contrast against the Sapele. At 40-inches long and 10-inches high, including the top of the pointer, Vesuvius emanates a majestic warmth into any home or professional setting. Linear Clocks arrive charged, and include a charging cable. They require charging every 9-12 months. They are easy to hang on just two screws, and angled hangers make them easy to level. Linear Clocks also self-adjust for Daylight Savings Time.990
