About the Item
Very rare JUNGHANS kitchen clock, from the 1960s, mechanical. In melon peach shade.
Pastel antique pink/white stoneware case, fully glazed, with white dial under glaze, with hour and baton indices and 12 and 6 o'clock numerals, brass glazing and brass hands.
This particular shape with rounded corners square dial is very rare and dating around 1961-1962. To be noticed the elegant stepped profile.
Back: round metal case with hanging loop.
Inside is the Junghans Manufacture 8-day movement, 19/5325. With key included.
It works in simpler tests. Untested over time. Accuracy may need to be adjusted.
A chip on the backside to the right corner, that doesn't affect the front view.
Dimensions: W x H x D = 23 x 20 x 6 cm.
Junghans was the world's largest clock manufacturer in the 1950s and 1960s. Renowned designers worked for J.H., including on kitchen clocks, resulting in beautiful and elegant clocks of high quality, like the one offered here. It fits in almost any modern kitchen, especially in white rooms and girls' rooms.

Antique Ormolu French Cartel Clock on its stand, Napoleon III Era.
This is a good-sized French mantel clock dating from around 1880. It has a waisted case with applied brass decoration and brass and tortoiseshell-style inlaid panels. The white enameled dial has fancy pierced brass hands and a beaded bezel. It is hand-painted with Arab numerals and decorated with garlands of flowers and leaves. The clock has a center window showing the pendulum shaped like a fairy. It drives the movement that seems to strike the hours and halves on a bell.
