The case is designed in the shape of a Gothic-style chapel, featuring a pointed arch top that lends the piece a stately architectural presence. Two finely turned pinnacles rise symmetrically on either side, accentuating its ecclesiastical inspiration. The central door, fitted with a glass panel, provides a clear view of the clock's intricate inner workings, including the mechanical movement driven by a rope mechanism. The dial is adorned with Roman numerals and features an exposed escapement at its center, adding to its antique charm.
