About the Item
1950's Earth Geography Rotating Teaching Globe.
Sourced from a Czech collector this rare globe was used as a teaching aid to explain the position of the earths longitude and latitude markings. The globe rotates and the stand can be adjusted so that the 'C' shaped metal frame holding the globe can slide on the base adjusting the globe from almost vertical to almost horizontal.
