1950’s Earth Geography Rotating Teaching Globe

About the Item

1950's Earth Geography Rotating Teaching Globe. Sourced from a Czech collector this rare globe was used as a teaching aid to explain the position of the earths longitude and latitude markings. The globe rotates and the stand can be adjusted so that the 'C' shaped metal frame holding the globe can slide on the base adjusting the globe from almost vertical to almost horizontal. Workshop Report: Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
