About the Item
A naturalistic pen-holder in the shape of this glazed ceramic micro cosmos with a blue tit family (Parus caeruleus) going on with life on an old 'tired' birch wood branch with cracks and peeling. Signed: E. W. - unknown Danish ceramist. Obviously by a skilled folk artist. A professional would not spend the hours required for such a small intricate piece. We suspect it was made between 1970-1990.
