Art Nouveau Loetz Styled Green Iridescent Art Glass Inkwell with Brass Top
About the Item
This antique art glass inkwell is unsigned, but presumed to have originated from Austria and date to approximately 1900 and done in the period Art Nouveau style. The body of the inkwell is done in a deep green glass with a strong iridescence and a squat squared shape. The collar and top of the inkwell is done with a stylized lid with a clear glass insert. We bekueve the inkwell was made by a contemporary of Loetz and done in their period style.
