Vintage Bronze & Marble Inkwell
About the Item
This vintage 19th century inkwell is beautifully designed with a detailed sculpted dore' bronze depicting the poet, Elizabeth Barrett Browning. The figure is costumed in a draped gown & holding a long flowing shawl around her. Two decorative inkwells with glass inserts accent both sides of the bronze figure & this trio is mounted upon a veined black & white marble platform containing a "trenched" pen rest. The inkwell is large & will make an impressive accent on the right desk!
