Pair of Museum Quality Moser Polychromatic Enamelled 19th Century Vases c1890

About the Item

Technical Description A truly stunning pair of 19th-century glass vases hand-decorated in polychromatic enamels with grasses, flowers, and birds. Mounted on brass stands with three legs in the form of griffins. Blue glass with pink flecks when the light reflects, with gilding below the grasses. The rims have been chamfered and gilded. These are museum quality pieces which you wont find elsewhere Comments These are truly stunning, probably by Moser, but could be one of the other top-end factories from that period and location. Date & Origin Germany or Bohemia c1890. Condition Excellent, age-related wear as shown. No chips cracks or restoration, loss of gilt to the rim, enamel intact and in excellent condition. Dimensions Height: 16,2cm, Diameter: 11.3cm.
