20th Century Italian Sterling Silver Desk Bell

Desk bell in sterling silver. The bell is smooth with beaded decorations both on the body and on the knob.
The body is perforated to make the bell sound (brass movement) more ringing.
The object is placed on 3 full plates always made of silver with the fusion method
This is a typical desk bell or as you can find at the hotel reception you call the "concierge"
The bell has been lacquered with antioxidant paint.

20th Century Italian Sterling Silver Inkstand, baroque revival

Faithful copy of the writing service by the silversmith Pietro Rubini, Milan c.1775
The inkstand is composed of a shaped tray supported by 4 rocailles feet, modeled along the entire profile by finely embossed and chiselled volutes, leaves and shells.
Above the tray are two ink holders and two pen holders with spiral workmanship and highly embossed vegetable decorations.
A bell in the center of the object rests on a FASTIGIO pierced with flowering vines.
