About the Item
Superb near pair of Russian or English early 19th century watch or portrait holders. In the finest quality ormolu set on square socles. The bases of square form in black and Sienna marble set with lapis lazuli. The figure is of a winged cupid with one foot raised holding a floral wreath on top of which are two cupids beside a fountain. Hook at back for watch or pendant.
