Cenedese Murano Sommerso Glowing Uranium Green Art Glass Mushroom Paperweight
About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso light green, with multicolor spots Italian art glass mushroom / toadstool paperweight. Documented to the Cenedese company. The mushroom cap has floating controlled bubbles within, that are surrounded by different color spots. It has red, teal, green, cobalt blue, and dark olive green colors throughout. The piece glows bright neon green under a black light from the high amount of Uranium / UV reactive glass (see photo). Would make a great display piece on any desk, dresser or coffee table. Mid-century era. Measures: 3 3/4" tall x 3 1/2" wide.
