About the Item
Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown clear body with spots Italian art glass mushroom / toadstool paperweight. Created for the Fornasa De Murano A L'Insegna Del Moreto company, by designer Galliano Ferro. I have previously owned several with the labels still attached. The mushroom cap is covered in red orange spots with clear body. The piece does glow green under a black light from the amount of Uranium / UV reactive glass it was made from (see photo). Would make a great display piece on any desk, coffee table or curio cabinet. Mid-century era. Measurements: 3" tall x 3 1/4" wide.
