A small, lavender-hued duck-shaped Neodymium paperweight, crafted in the 1970s in Murano, Italy, and attributed to V. Nason.
Measuring 9 cm tall with a depth of 9 cm and a width of 4 cm, this cute Murano glass duck is made from neodymium glass, also known as alexandrite glass. The inclusion of neodymium during the glassmaking process gives it a soft lavender hue, with colour-shifting properties—transforming into vivid pinks or cool blues depending on the lighting conditions.
The paperweight is in very good condition, considering its age and use.
