1928 Pair of George V Silver and Tortoiseshell Photograph Frames

About the Item

Each of arched form with silver borders and plaques, one inscribed for "Victor Lightman J.P., Obt 24th July 1928", the other "Rebecca Lightman, Obt 23rd Jan 1928", with blue canvas backings, hallmarked for London 1928. Victor Lightman was a representative of Justice of the Peace, in Leeds. He was born in 1860 and lived in Leeds with his wife Rebecca, who was born in 1865. It is very rare to find a pair of tortoiseshell and silver mounted Photograph Frames of this quality and size.
