20th Century Giant Italian Sterling Sterling Silver Picture Frame
About the Item
Large sterling silver photo frame.
The frame was made from a 925 silver sheet with a very wide and shaped edge, concave towards the inside and convex towards the outside edge. The silver plate also covers a large part of the outer edge and gives it elegance and balance of lines.
The internal sizes, that of the photograph or drawing that the frame can contain, is cm. 30 x 39 (11.8 x 15.4 inches)
External size 46 x 55cm. (18.1 x 21.6inches)
The weight of the 925 solid silver alone is 1464 grams (51.64 ounces).
The wooden back has been covered with blue velvet
