Aesthetic Movement Carved Gilt Frame by Standford White Circa 1900

About the Item

An original period frame with Flemish corners by the renowned architect Stanford White. Carved and signed by the New York firm of Thomas Jacobson and William C. Le Brocq, whom he commissioned to create his earliest designs before later employing the Chicago firm of Newcomb-Macklin once they opened their Manhattan showroom. The interior measures 16.25" x 22.25".
