About the Item

An outstanding 16th century Italian (Venetian ) solid walnut and partially polychromed frame. Beautifully hand carved birds and flowers, this style was typical for Venetian time of 1500s. Painting size which fits inside, maximum dimensions are: hight 33.5 cm, width 26.5 cm. The frame is in good condition for its age, some little parts are missing but not real visible. An amazing frame for a special drawing or a painting.
