Antique Charles S. Green Arts & Crafts Sterling Silver Picture or Mirror Frame
About the Item
This antique picture or mirror frame was made by the well known Charles S. Green Company of England in approximately 1907 in the period Arts and Crafts style. The front of the frame is composed of sterling silver with repousse decoration depicting a woman standing in a pastoral vignette with ivy accenting the top. The back of frame is done in pine with a hinged support for standing upright. The frame is clearly hallmarked with the Charles Green maker's mark and lion passant for English sterling.
