Vintage Italian Sterling Silver Picture or Mirror Frame with Ornate Gothic Motif
About the Item
This vintage picture or mirror frame is signed by an unknown maker and presumed to have originated from Italy and date to approximately 1970 and done in a Gothic Revival style. The front of the frame is composed of sterling silver with ornate repousse decoration of faces and ivy. The backing and hinged support are made of pine with a velvet covering. The frame is clearly signed and marked "925" for the silver content.
