Beveled Glass Picture Frame, circa 1940
About the Item
This elegant 1940s French mirrored picture photo frame features an impressive carved shape with geometric bevelling around it. Although of French origin, the design of this frame is close to the glamorous American Hollywood Regency style of the 1940s. The photograph can be displayed either in portrait or in landscape position. The back and easel are covered with decorative burgundy-red paper.
The photo frame is in good condition, with minor wear on the back and some dark stains in the mirror, but it does not significantly affect the overall appearance.
