Some objects have made long journeys and wear their age well. This early American gilt frame has stood the test of time. It may have once housed a mirror but since has become a survivor of a time past. The gold leaf still shines brilliantly despite severe aging and if handled with care could make for a charming vignette that is both delicate and resilient.
