Delicately shaped rose vine arranged around the rectangle picture frame, which holds the beveled glass.
The glass is held by tentacle-like arms, and measures 9'' (233 mm) x 6.7'' (171 mm) approx..
The original photograph comes in brown duplex colours, and is indeed an original of the time.
