Large Black & Gold Shimmer Twisted Murano Glass and Brass Picture Frame 1950s
About the Item
A gorgeous Murano art glass photo frame attributed to Barovier & Toso, Murano, Italy, circa 1950 or older. Made of black glass inside a lot of golden shimmer with bronze brass liner and easel. All Original condition, not marked, please see the detailed pictures. Original wooden back and photo glass included. No chips, cracks or damage. Holds a size 8 7/8" x 6 3/4" inch oval photo.
We think that because of the color of the frame it could be a mourning picture frame, the black with the golden shimmer would bring a memory picture into an appreciative environment. The frame can also be used for any other occasion.
Found at an Estate Sale in Modena, Italy. A nice addition to any room.
