Original Victorian period double photograph frame (or miniature frame) with classical Victorian 'Lover's Knot' design. Typical frame for wedding photographs. Made of solid cast brass with a highly polished front surface.
Framed space for two photographs/pictures (oval; 12 high x 8cm wide, 4.92 high x 3.14 inches wide) presented amid a traditional decor of garlands and bows in the repoussé style.
Equipped with a hidden stand-leg for placing on a flat surface. With sturdy brass clips securing the image and a decorative brass fold-able back leg.
Marked JH Depose 45.
