Mid Century Montagnani Italy Wood and Metal Picture Frame
About the Item
Montagnani Firenze, Italy, crafted this stunning picture frame in the 1970s. Its Mid-Century modernist design boasts a rectangular shape, with light burl walnut wood geometric veneer complemented with polished gilded aluminum metal framing. The back and easel are in high gloss tropical wood and are attached to the rest of the frame with four brass screws. This frame exudes an undeniably powerful decorative flair and has an impressive presence. You can arrange the picture frame in either a portrait or landscape orientation.
The frame is in good condition with a tiny factory defect on the metal framing at the back. Check the close-up.
It comes from a dead old stock of a gift store in Firenze and still has its original gift storage box.
