A very beautiful and rare olive or fruitwood picture frame from V. Schefers & Co. Fine Arts, New York, circa late-19th century, New York, NY, USA. Schefers was an importer, dealer, and manufacturer of etchings, engravings and fine picture frames. This beautiful picture frame is all olive or fruitwood, front and back, with protective front glass. Makers' mark on back reads: V. Schefers & Co. Fine Arts, 1242 Broadway, New York (as shown in closeup, last image.) Piece is in very good condition as shown. Dimensions: 5.13" Width x 6.94" Height.
