Rare Early 20th Century Handcrafted Set of Moorish Arabic Inlaid Picture Frames

About the Item

All handcrafted and very stylish set of picture, mirror or photograph frames with inlaid Islamic motifs. If you have an Arabic (inspired) interior then this set of three Moorish picture frames will make great decoration on your wall. They would look beautiful above a side table or on the wall behind a large couch. In the right space they could actually look great anywhere. It must have taken a highly skilled craftsman weeks rather than days to totally handcraft these three stunning frames, because all small pieces of wood in these frames were all individually sawn and put together. The wonderfully inlaid Islamic motifs of handcut bone and mother of pearl too are in excellent condition and apart from some minor imperfections to the wooden frames (consistent with age and use) these antiques are in very good condition. Currently there is no glass or mirror in them, but antique glass panels that fit will be provided. The frame in the middle is a little higher, but all three 'windows' in the frames are the same size. The frame on the left is hanging a bit closer to the window which is why it looks a little lighter in color, but all frames have the exact same color.
