Varnish Carved Sycamore Wood Picture Frame, 1940s
About the Item
This elegant Italian Hollywood Regency picture frame boasts a lovely romantic beveled shape with varnished sycamore wood. There is a wood easel at the back. The designer monogram hallmark at the back is not identified but reads a heraldic lily or "fleur de Lys" logo with Florence and Made in Italy.
The photo frame is in good condition, with minor wear to the wood, and is more pronounced on the two lower corners. Check the close-up. When standing, the defects are less evident.

Overall: 13.75 in wide (35 cm) x 16.13 in high (41 cm).
Opening (photo size): 9.07 in wide (23 cm) x 11.44 in high (29 cm).
