1920s White Marble Plaque on Stand
About the Item
This large white marble plaque dates from the 1920s. It depicts a series of ballet dancers in high relief and comes mounted on a bespoke steel stand. This unusual plaque is Art Deco in style, carved with four distinctive ballerinas and expressionistic dancers. Likely once used as wall decoration, it is now displayed on a custom-made stand for use as a display piece, looking particularly fitting within an Art Deco themed interior.
