Torch cut abstract metal sculpture by Win Ng, moving forms that intersect each other to create this study in metal. Ng was a graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute in 1959 and has over 100 exhibitions of his work from 1959 to 1987, his work is in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Tokyo, SFMoA, Oakland Museum, De Young Museum, SF, Asian Art Museum SF, Mills College Art Gallery, Oakland and Museum of Contemporary Crafts, NY. Ng was known for working as a ceramist, sculptor, metal worker, Industrial designer, painter and illustrator, but is best known for being a co-founder of Taylor & Ng which was one of the most innovate department stores of its day and became a huge success.
