About the Item
Likely 1970s
A designer friend referred to this as the 'magic baguette' and I started doing so after. You could also call it the leaning baguette. It has a stone (marble?) base. A sculpted piece of warm blonde wood is screwed into this heavy base. The wood has really nice detail to it, a smooth driftwood feel. No maker's marks or signature, purchased from an excellent estate with great art and interior furnishings.
Condition notes: In overall good condition, some light marks to the surfaces. Presents well.
