Abstract bronze sculpture by Johannes W.G.M. Ramakers (1938-) on high pedestal Johannes W.G.M. Ramakers (1938-) a Dutch sculptor. The bronze titled Spectrofile III numbered edition 1/12. Signed under the double sided abstract round head. The bronze (organic round ball and the inner round bronze head) can rotate on their own axis. On a high pedestal Jo Ramakers comes from a family of artistic craftsmen. Famous in Geleen was the studio J.W Ramakers & Zonen, designers and manufacturers of church furniture in all styles, such as wooden and marble statues Jo Ramakers' sculptures are mainly related to nature. In nature he traces the archetypes of life, not so much making them visible as expressing them. Unhindered by accidental appearances, he tries to depict things as concisely as possible, eager for images that take on a life of their own, but which are nevertheless always signs of the reality in which we live. Jo Ramakers is a member of the Dutch Limburgse Kunstkring The height of the bronze is approx. 43 cm high, 40 cm wide and 22 cm deep. The base is approx. 125 cm high, 15 cm square and the foot is 30 cm square. 1 Inch = 2.54 cm
