American studio craft movement abstract modernist wood sculpture bust figure w/ hand crafted, hand carved, stack laminated construction w/ beautifully aged surface color. Attributed to American artist sculptor Margery Goldberg ( b. 1950 ) founder of the Zenith Gallery in Washington, D.C. No apparent signature. Circa 1970-1980. Measures 26" long from front of base to back of head x 11" at widest point of head x 17" h to top of head. Look at all pictures and read condition report in comment section.

    Wear consistent with age and use. all original vintage condition w/ beautifully aged color patina to wood w/ small areas of very light wear rubs to finish. area of wood loss at front one flat side of base / some residue at sides of base. no apparent signature.
