An astounding abstract sculpture hand crafted by renowned Texas artist David Deming executed in 1985.
It was titled "Centurion II" because of its ominous appearance as a massive guardian offering protection to those behind him.
This artwork was purchased from Deming's first solo exhibition at the Adams-Middleton Gallery in Dallas TX.
Comprised of 9 interlocking steel pieces, Centurion II is post-modern anthropomorphism at its finest.
It commands the attention of observers from every angle.
Refinished in an exterior grade flat black paint and ready for installation.
