Egyptian Revival Vintage Black Resin Sphinx Step Form Sculpture
About the Item
This amazing and fabulous vintage sphinx black resin sculpture is most likely to be one of a kind. It is signed RA on the bottom. We do not know who this is but the female body is composed of many resin steps. It is different from all angles and has Egyptian revival associations and influences. It looks like a museum piece and is a show stopper. It is vintage and from the 1970s. Most unusual and a great conversation piece indeed. Sorry the photos do not do justice to the stellar nature of this tabletop sculpture. It must be seen in person as it is a piece de resistance. There was some minimal restoration work done and now looks fabulous. This is a very special sculpture and one we have never seen before nor will see again.
