About the Item
Italian Murano Glass Artistic Sculpture Attributed to Tagliapietra, 1990s.
This is an amazing sculpture realized with transparent Murano glass and many black submerged glass canes that intersect each other, adapting themselves to the surface shape. The bulge in the lower part lays on a 3.15" round base, and it stretches upwards with a slightly reclined tip at the higher extremity; the whole sculpture resembles a drop. It is a truly unique piece of Italian design ornament.
The sculpture was entirely handmade in the island of Murano in the 1990s and it is in perfect original condition, as documented in the attached photos.
