About the Item

Joseph A. Burlini, born in 1937, is an American contemporary artist renowned for his large-scale sculptures. He graduated from the Art Institute of Chicago and has spent much of his career in the Chicago metropolitan area. Burlini's style combines abstract expressionism with geometric abstraction, with an emphasis on creating sculptures that have an organic, yet industrial, aesthetic.
