Marble Sculpture by Matthias Contzen

About the Item

The main Inspiration and Motivation of Matthias Contzen is discribed by himself as the deep desire to disentangle the true nature of Form. Where does Form comes from and why does it mysteriously manifest in a certain way, following a sacred, hidden pattern, tangible in the whole Universe, both in micro and macro structures of all the elements. That being said is no wonder that this sculture is so intense and unique. it is made from a single block of marble that is perfurated and polished to give different shades and textures. It is placed over a metal axis so it revilves 360 degrees over itself.
